Remote Sound

New combination device TV remote speaker / Sony If anything I've seen this week that I do not see the addition of much tangible benefit to my life and yet must be immediately wonder.

He is a wireless system but totally impractical to use the couch. It seems ridiculous, frankly, but I can see a time when I'm in the kitchen preparing dinner, but want to hear the local news (OK, well, Coronation Street) from the living room TV.

Channel change and increase the volume would be much easier to do while standing against me, instead of having to travel 10 feet to the other room.

It looks very silly, and not something that would probably leave at the counter when friends are staying. It is probably a good thing this is for sale only in Japan. That rules out a series of uncomfortable conversations.
